# InPost (FKA Yodel) [InPost (FKA Yodel)](http://inpost.co.uk) offers domestic and international shipping services for shipments originating in Great Britain. This guide provides developers with the details needed to build InPost shipping capabilities into your ShipStation V2 API workflows. ShipStation V2 API also allows you to use the InPost services included with ShipStation V2 API. The requirements and service details are different than those for an InPost account. Account Updates for Yodel & InPost Your account number won't change, but if you have both Yodel and InPost, you might temporarily see two accounts listed. For instructions on connecting InPost via the ShipStation dashboard, go to our [InPost help article](https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/7687374162331). ## Rates InPost does not send estimated rates to ShipStation V2 API. Your InPost account contact can provide you with the details about your contracted rates. ## Service Details Available InPost services are provided below. This levy is charged **per consignment**, not per item. See the **Shipping to New Zealand: Low Value Goods (LVG) Levy** section in [International Shipments](/apis/shipengine/docs/shipping/international) for full details. ### Shipping to Northern Ireland InPost will not support the B2B movement type for shipping from Great Britain to Northern Ireland, in accordance with the [Windsor Framework](/apis/shipengine/docs/shipping/windsor-framework). For B2B shipments to NI, you should use a carrier that supports this movement type. If adding the `b2b` value to the `windsor_framework_details` property, you will receive an error. Supported values for InPost are `b2c` and `c2c` only. For all other shipments to Northern Ireland, InPost will require the following data to be provided for each product in the shipment (to be included in the `packages.products` array of objects): * `description` * `quantity` * `value` (this object also requires the `value.currency` and `value.amount` properties) InPost also recommends providing the `harmonized_tariff_code` property as well, though this is not required. **TIP:** You may find it helpful to see the [*Products Object* section of our International Shipping](/apis/shipengine/docs/shipping/international) page. ### Return Services Return services are not supported for this carrier. ### Packages The following [carrier package types](/apis/shipengine/docs/shipping/carrier-packaging) are available for InPost services: | Name | API Code | Package Attributes | | --- | --- | --- | | Parcel | `yodel_parcel_1` | International, Domestic | ## Adding Shipment Insurance InPost does not support adding carrier insurance to shipments created with ShipStation V2 API. Contact your InPost representative for information about InPost's default loss/damage coverage policies. ## Label Support * Label sizes: 4" x 6", 4" x 8" * Label formats: PDF All InPost services have a 40-character maximum for the `name` field and a 30-character maximum for each `address_line` field (address lines 1-4). ### Label Reference Fields InPost does not support adding [custom label messages](/apis/shipengine/docs/labels/messages). ### Multi-Package Labels InPost supports creating [multi-package shipments](/apis/shipengine/docs/shipping/multi-package) with most services. ### Label Branding InPost does not support [label branding](/apis/shipengine/docs/labels/branding). ### Voiding Labels InPost supports [voiding labels](/apis/shipengine/docs/labels/voiding) with ShipStation V2 API. ### Paperless Labels InPost does not support creating [paperless labels](/apis/shipengine/docs/labels/paperless). ### Customs Declarations Customs declarations are required for shipments to the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland. To ensure you always have the most up-to-date information about a carrier's advanced options, use the [list carrier options call](/apis/shipengine/docs/reference/list-carrier-options). ## Manifests InPost automatically [manifests](/apis/shipengine/docs/shipping/manifests) all shipments. There is no need to create them manually through ShipStation V2 API. ## Scheduling Pickups InPost does not support [scheduling pickups](/apis/shipengine/docs/shipping/pickups) using ShipStation V2 API. ## Service Points (PUDO) InPost supports shipping to [service points](/apis/shipengine/docs/pick-up-drop-off/pudo-intro). ## Tracking ShipStation V2 API's integration with InPost supports receiving tracking updates.
